About Apostolic Sr. Pastor Reverend James D. Burwell
Pastor James D. Burwell has faithfully served as Pastor of Clark Memorial Baptist Church in Homestead, Pennsylvania since 1997. Prior to his pastorate, he served the ministry faithfully as both Worship Leader and Deacon.
A humble yet visionary leader, Pastor Burwell is known for his integrity, compassion, and unwavering commitment to excellence in ministry. Through his leadership, Clark Memorial Baptist Church has experienced tremendous spiritual growth and advancement, surpassing many expectations established at the beginning of his pastorate.
As a respected Pastor and Teacher, Pastor Burwell is honored among his peers and deeply loved by those he serves. His passion for the Kingdom of God continues to inspire him to set new goals and lead the ministry with wisdom, purpose, and excellence.
Pastor Burwell was licensed into the Gospel ministry on July 7, 1996. He accepted the call to pastor Clark Memorial Baptist Church on September 20, 1996, and was ordained into the Gospel ministry on November 24, 1996.
He is married to Prophetess Jou’AL E. Robinson Burwell, a gifted and gracious woman of God. Together they share the joy of their beautiful daughter, Gabri-Elle Lynn Burwell.
